I’m Abby, a passionate collector and dealer of Mid-Century, Vintage & Antique decor. My period property home and renovation project, was previously a shop, see image... it is now Goose HQ. It houses my extensive collections from decadent gilt antiques, my passion for mid-century including chalkware and Tretchikoff and the Bohemian addiction I have for bamboo, rattan, shell and macrame decor! Not forgetting my love of Hollywood Regency, Nouveau and Deco influences…basically my decor style is Atomic Goose! 

I have been lucky enough to grow up surrounded by wonderful items from bygone eras, I have fond memories of buying and selling at antique fairs with my mother as a young child. So my love for ‘the game’ was formed along with studying art then textiles to appreciate the true aesthetics of the formal elements. This all contributes to having that certain ‘eye’ to source items I deem as beautiful and the joy I have in styling them for the images I bring to you! 

I have always ran my trading businesses alongside a full time job, as well as the other equally demanding role of being a wife and mother to two amazing young daughters. 

A couple of weeks before the world knew of Covid, I took the brave decision to give up a full time job I adored to follow my passion and dream… to launch my sole business, Atomic Goose, while enjoying more quality time with my children. The world changed, but luckily the business quickly began to grow despite the unprecedented times we were all living in… I was one of the lucky ones. 

Then fast-forward and the cyber hackers struck, and I thought I’d lost everything I had created single-handedly. Again I was lucky and managed to regain control of my social media and bank accounts after 4 weeks of rollercoaster emotions and wanting to throw the towel in! From here, the website was born to protect myself as well as my business…this goose never gives up! 

So that’s the backstory!
