Vintage 1973 risque boxed Pirelli calendar 17”x24”. This rare edition by Art Director Derek Forsyth commissioned photographer Duffy, pop artist Allen Jones and airbrush artist Philip Castle. It showcases 12 glossy girl photographs with pencil sketch prints on reverse of each image. The airbrushing techniques used producing this calendar were incorporated on the David Bowie Aladdin Sane album cover in 1973. The calendar includes the models: Nicky Allen, Kari Ann, Erica Creer, Elizabeth, Kate Howard, Nicki Howorth, Kubi, Jane Lumb, Sue Paul, Penny Steele, Vida, and Vicky Wilks. These statement iconic saucy images would look amazing framed! In a fantastic condition with no damage, folds or tears to any of the glossy girl images.
