Arabian Nights 1920’s/1930’s rag cloth wired poseable doll couple 7.5”. Exquisite little pair of hareem wearing boudoir dolls, beautifully crafted with bold hand painted features. Wired so can be put into a chosen pose. The Arabian Princess has lovely black hair under her veil with her Prince wearing an embossed brass metal service medal. He also may have lost the fabric arms to his silk shirt which reveal how he has been made… twisted wire padded with cotton and bound with thread and wool. Some fading to their fine clothes of silks and velvets as to be expected but still areas of rich colour H 19cm W 6.5cm D 3cm
