1960’s bollywood babe sculptured Mumbai sari plaster standing mannequin WAHEEDA. Produced by Studio Shilpa Sadhana, Artists, Sculptors and Decorators Bombay (Mumbai). She still obtains her original metal plaque to base. These mannequins were sent to sari shop owners after they had placed a substantial order from Mumbai in the 1960s/1970s. This super rare girl is complete with her original arms, removed via butterfly wingnuts being unscrewed from her back cavity. Incredible condition to have survived being dressed and used daily in a busy shop. Many were cast aside into skips in the 1990’s making Waheeda a very rare exotic sought after mannequin amongst collectors world wide. She does show some minor authentic signs of age with a couple of repaired fine cracks but solid, sturdy and complete.
